New housing statistics published today show overall housing output in Scotland continuing to flat line with only 88 more homes (one per cent) built in 2016 than the year before. Figures also indicate that things won’t be improving any time soon with a fall in the number of homes (279 / two per cent) being started in the same period. With a lack of decent housing being a serious problem for Scotland these numbers are nowhere near good enough!
