As I posted this morning, today is Purple Friday. This week I spoke in the debate celebrating LGBT history month in Scotland.
It is Purple Friday today. A day for people across Scotland to show support for LGBTI people, and stand against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
WATCH: Calling the SNP out today on budget day. Not 1 SNP MSP had the guts to utter a word of opposition to cuts to their own local communities and the NHS. No backbone. No ability to stand up to Nicola Sturgeon. No opinion of their own. No ideology except one obsession: Independence.
Delighted to host the first Cross Party Group meeting on Irritable Bowel Disease tonight in the Scottish Parliament. Scotland has the highest instances of IBD in Britain and the number of cases has increased dramatically in recent years. More understanding and awareness is needed about the severe impact IBD conditions have on the day to day lives of sufferers.
The world is a poorer place without Gordon Aikman. But it is also a better place because of Gordon Aikman. It is with a heavy heart that I spoke in the Gordon's Fightback MND debate today. He achieved so much in his short life. We owe it to him, his family and all those touched by MND to continue and complete his fightback.
